Process

 

I kind of went for it so there is not much process. When I create I usually get to a good stopping point. I use the Untitled Lovers image, and glass breaking, signifying that the time between the clocks are breaking and not in sync. I also was inspried by the Doctor Who intro. I always liked the idea that everything in this universe is connected.

Process Project 4

 I am still stuck on ideas and creative process. One that I keep going back to is the Untitled Lovers art exhibition. I think there is someting about having two identical things align and over time they lose sync speaks to the narrative to me. Since over time, someone grows and they are not the same spot as they were.

Final

 This is my final. The narrative I went for was quote that I read along time ago "You are a universe inside a universe." I was also inspired by the intro of Doctor Who, a sci-fi show that they travel through space and time. 

Attempt 1

 

This is my first attempt at the project. I originally wanted to change the time on the clock face but then I was like "thats gonna take to much time to make it look good" I decided to blur them out instead. For me it means that when you pay attention to time it feels like a blur.

VISUAL SEQUENTIAL NARRTIVE IDEAS

 

I had a few ideas for this project. One being inspired by the "Untitled" (Perfect Lovers) which is taking 9 clocks, set them to the same time, and take pictures over time and hopefully they will loose synchronization. But then I was like I can't afford 9 clocks and it would be kind of a rip off of the original work of art. 

Another idea I had is something based off of Rene Margritte, specifically "The Lovers" or "Not to be Reproduced". I like his surreal art and I sometimes relate surrealism to time.

Two More: Wooly Worm Dollars

I made wooly worm dollars. The idea is that your money turns into the money for this festival. And at the end you buy souvenirs that you don't really need anymore after the festival ends.
